At Universal Piano Services you will find a lovely variety of pianos as well as professional piano services. Our team of experts understands the inner workings of different types of pianos. It is this knowledge that allows us to provide professional services and offer expert advice for beginners and expert musicians alike.
CHOOSING A USED PIANO
When you take a look at the stock at our piano store Keswick, you will notice that we have a wide variety of used grand, baby grand and upright pianos. Our wide variety ensures that we are able to cater to various needs and budgets. Our listings are regularly changing so we encourage you to check them often to see what’s new. We are available 7 days a week should you wish to schedule an appointment to view any of our pianos. Simply send us an email or call us at (416) 230-5560.
PROFESSIONAL PIANO RESTORATION
Heavy or extended use will cause your piano to lose its sound. When various action parts, leather and felt become worn, you will notice a difference in the way your piano sounds and possible the way it looks too. The good news is that our piano store Keswick offers professional restoration services. Restoration may involve repairing or replacing damaged parts, tightening and lubrication of action parts, adjusting, regulating, voicing and a thorough clean. Rebuilding a piano usually requires that we disassemble the cabinet. We also repair and replace the necessary parts including the bridges, soundboard and pinblock and restore the damper system (including replacing the strings, action parts and hammer). If needed, we also refinish the cast-iron plate. Once our work is done, you will enjoy a beautifully restored piano that looks and sounds amazing.
TUNING YOUR PIANO
One of the most popular services offered at our piano store Keswick is our tuning service. Over time and due to various factors, your piano can become out of tune. Some factors include frequent use, humidity levels, temperature changes, slipping tuning pins and stretched strings. No matter the reason behind your piano no longer being in tune, we are here to assist. It is also worth mentioning that when your piano is out of tune, this can result in excessive wear or damage to the piano. Timely piano tuning will help you preserve the sound of your piano.
Whether you are shopping for a quality used piano or reliable piano services, you can always rely on our team for professional service and assistance. For more information or to make an appointment to visit our showroom, simply send us an email or phone us at (416) 230-5560. We also offer professional piano moving, storage, care and refinishing services.

Dependable Piano Moving in Keswick
Piano moving is best left to the professionals. Moving pianos has much more to do with technique, skills and proper equipment than it does with sheer force. It can be both a science and an art, because this task requires special knowledge and skills that average household movers do not possess.
In those tight situations where it is impossible to move the piano in one piece, we will professionally dismantle it, move it to the desired location, and then fully reassemble the instrument to its original state.
We will move your piano anywhere, whether it is an upright, a spinet, a baby grand, a concert grand, or an organ.
Trust us to be your professional piano movers in Keswick!

I selected Universal Piano Services to perform a long overdue tune after reading all of the positive Google reviews. I was nervous about trusting someone as the piano is over 130 years old and hadn't been tuned in decades. I was delighted with the outcome with Ilya being very responsive and helpful on my initial inquiry. Anatoly spent two hours on the initial tune and Pavel did an amazing job tweaking a few items a few weeks later. Anatoly and Pavel arrived when scheduled and were very patient as they worked on the piano. A special shout out to Pavel as he shared that he is a fourth generation tuner with deep experience that he demonstrated with enthusiasm. Thanks to Ilya, Anatoly and Pavel - they are a great team!

We had an excellent experience purchasing our piano. The service was highly professional, with great patience and genuine attention to our needs. The recommendation we received was spot-on and perfectly suited to what we were looking for.
The prices were fair, and the personal care we received throughout the process made the whole experience even better. It truly felt like they cared about helping us find the right piano, not just making a sale.
Highly recommended to anyone looking to buy a piano!

My wife and I were looking for a piano, to upgrade our girls, it was time. My wife researched looked around and universal piano services came up and we made an appointment and met Ilya. From the moment we walked in he was very very nice every question and I really mean every question we had because he did have quite a few pianos there, he answered them with detail and reason and I learned a few things that I didn't even realize existed or even was part of a piano. So he let my girls try the pianos out he played a little too. It was awesome. Now for the decision my wife wanted it white asked if she could get gold accents. Done and done. He was great with sending pictures of the process considering we bought a black one. Upon delivery she looked beautiful it was exactly what she wanted and Ilya and his team got it spot on. It came tuned and ready to be played. It sounds awesome my girls love playing it and its looked great. Thank you Ilya and universal piano.

Found their information on internet but after the technician came , I was truly impressed how professional he was. He was so much in detail. He could have finished in half the time he spent because I'm not an expert but he continued to his utmost satisfaction . Two thumbs up. I will recommend them to all my friends in case they need similar services.

We were trying to purchase a used upright piano and looked everywhere. I even prayed that God would lead us to the right place. He did lead us to Universal Piano Services. Ilya was just amazing in showing us around. We got a lovely tour and history of the pianos. He is very knowledgeable and very professional. He was polite in answering all our questions. His sense of humour is wonderful.
He was very reasonable in negotiating the price. He had the movers set up right away ; they were extremely wonderful in handling the piano. I highly recommend Ilya’s place.

I recently purchased a baby grand piano from Jniversal Piano. From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience. Ilya did not pressure me at all and was very patient with all my questions. The piano arrived exactly when he said it would. The movers that Ilya employed were very efficient, knowledgeable and again very patient. The piano tuner was wonderful and carefully tuned the piano thoroughly. He listened to my concerns and fixed a small problem with no questions asked.
Ilya returns my phone calls and texts promptly.
I highly recommend Universal pianos

Ilya is the most knowledgeable piano guy I've met. If you need to find a good deal and you appreciate the sound of a real, authentic acoustic piano, then this is where you get upright and even grand pianos for a fraction of the cost. Ilya is fun, great to deal with, made things easy, and explained the process. My piano is in great shape, and the amazing price even included delivery and tuning. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a used piano in excellent condition!
