Yes, we can tune any uprights, acoustic piano. Additionally, if you buy a piano with us, we will offer you 2 free tunings.

We suggest that a piano should be tuned 3 – 4 times in the first year it is purchased, and then 2 times per year after.

A new piano will undergo a process called settling within the first few weeks in your home. Once your new piano has settled (after about a month), it is wise to get your new piano tuned so it can sound its best – contact Universal Piano Services for a free estimate.

Possibly. The main reason you would need to tune a piano after a move is not the physical jostling of moving, but rather the difference in environment between where it was moved from and where it is now. Allow two to three weeks for settling and then contact Universal Piano Services for a free estimate; they will let you know if your piano is out of key and requires tuning.

This is entirely dependent on the type of repair needed: some repairs can be done on site, while others require us to take your piano (or parts of your piano) to our warehouse. There, we have the proper equipment to professionally repair any damage.

The repair itself cannot be done at your home, as replacing keys on a piano requires specialized equipment. However, there is no need to move your entire piano to our warehouse! Fortunately, pianos are made of several components that can be disassembled when repairs are needed.

Universal Piano Services takes care of all piano repairs, both big and small. We will transport your piano to our warehouse so that we can repair the legs and restore it to its original beauty. Contact us today for a free, no-obligation estimate today!
