Over time, all pianos experience wear and tear. As the action parts become worn and the felt and leather get thinner, you will start to notice some changes in the sound it produces. The good news is that we offer professional repair and restoration services. Restorations involve a thorough clean, replacing or repairing of damaged parts, lubrication and tightening of the action parts and tuning, adjusting, voicing and regulating in order to ensure the perfect sound. As for rebuilding, this will usually require the disassembly of the cabinet. The pinblock, bridges and soundboard may need to be repaired or replaced. The restoration of the damper system may also include the replacement of the strings, hammer and action parts. Finally, if necessary, the cast-iron plate might require refinishing. When our repairs are complete, your piano will look and sound fantastic.
No matter how beautiful your piano is, if it does not sound right, it will not bring you much joy. All instruments lose their sound but, with prompt tuning, our team can help restore this sound and have you playing again in no time. Apart from regular use, pianos also go out of tune due to differences in temperature, humidity, slipping tuning pins and stretched strings. No matter the cause, you can depend on our team to solve the problem.
As mentioned above, we specialise in used piano sales, repairs and professional tuning. We also offer other services including refinishing, piano care, storage and moving. To find out more about our piano store GTA stock or services, call (416) 230-5560 or send our team an email. For all your moving needs in GTA, we offer a full range of professional, fully-insured piano moving services. We are available for local piano moving and long-distance moving (including provincial, cross-country and internationally). Call now for more information and prices (416) 230-5560.
Piano moving is best left to the professionals. Moving pianos has much more to do with technique, skills and proper equipment than it does with sheer force. It can be both a science and an art, because this task requires special knowledge and skills that average household movers do not possess.
In those tight situations where it is impossible to move the piano in one piece, we will professionally dismantle it, move it to the desired location, and then fully reassemble the instrument to its original state.
We will move your piano anywhere, whether it is an upright, a spinet, a baby grand, a concert grand, or an organ.
Trust us to be your professional piano movers in GTA!
